A rich coffee with a full, smooth taste. This blend features a persistent crema and a chocolatey aftertaste. Roasted ground coffee blend, packaged in single-dose coffee capsules in a protective atmosphere.

ESE Capsule ESE stands for “Easy Serving Espresso.” The standard defines the requirements for ESE coffee capsules : 7.5 grams of coffee, the proper grind, and a shape and diameter that make them compatible only with ESE-certified machines. The coffee capsules enclose the coffee between two sealed layers of filter paper with fixed height and diameter.

ESE machines operate similarly to traditional ground coffee machines, but with distinct advantages: practically no spilled coffee grounds, minimal waste, and consistent freshness.

Coffee naturally absorbs oxygen from the air, so it must be kept as airtight as possible. To preserve freshness, ESE coffee capsules are sealed in recyclable aluminum foil. During packaging, the foil bags are flushed with nitrogen to maintain maximum freshness. The coffee capsules themselves are compostable, making the entire package eco-friendly.
